Back at it...

Well, here I am... back in Korea, after a short visit home. 20 days seemed like a lot, but it flew by like it was nothing. Again, I had planned on trying to make time for everyone, but it just didn't happen. So to those of you that I didn't come see, or saw only once... I apologize. I did have some fun though, while I was home. Went down to Mexico with Swiss for a few days and to the Tahoe are with Hadley for a few days. I was able to relax, have some fun, and blow off some steam from being stuck over here at this dump, in this "wonderful" organization called the United States Army.

I've had much to contemplate over the past couple of months. In about 2 weeks, I have to decide whether or not to reenlist. I know you're all thinking I'm an idiot, I'm even thinking that myself, but there's positives and negatives to both sides of it. If I reenlist for 2 more years, I get another bonus, station of choice (Ft. Huachuca, Arizona), and possibly K-9 school, which would be awesome. On the other hand... If I don't reenlist, I'm out of here in February 2006! that's only 8 months! But I won't get my veteran's status, I'll have to pay back approx. $2000, and I'd have to take a $300 per month pay cut. Yeah... that's gonna hurt! For the past couple of months, I've swayed back and forth. First I was damn sure that i wasn't going to reenlist. Then, it didn't seem so bad... stay here one more year, making decent money, then going where ever I want when I leave here. But now, I'm just so drained with the BS here. I've only been back for a few days, and I've already been tossed right into the middle of a bunch of crap. Right now, I'm leaning towards saying, "F it!" and getting the F*@# out! I've got 2 weeks to decide... so we'll see how it goes.

Other than being home on leave for a couple weeks... nothing new really. I'm getting promoted to PFC (Private First Class) in about a week and a half. No biggie, but that's an extra $90 a month, so that's a bonus. I could honestly care less about rank though. For those of you that know me, you know that I'm not the arse kissing type, and I refuse to try and get along with some of my "seniors" here. So, I'm stuck at getting my mandantory promotions every 6 months... woo hoo.

Alright, enough with the boring post. I'm out. Gotta do some PT in a few so, I'm stoked about that... HA! Late!
